AOL problems with SpamCop?

Is anyone else experiencing this? We are getting reports of users on AOL not being able to send emails through our servers, because SpamCop is blocking their AOL IP addresses. We are using SpamCop as one of our RBL lists.

Thanks.

Not a known problem here

Haven't had any problems of that sort on our end that we are aware of.

Disable spamcop and test if they can send. If they can, then you got a positive. You can't really do much about it other than to decide if you want to continue or not using them on your RBL.

On our side, we don't use RBLs due to the problems it generates with our own users.

Hey thanks for the responses.

I had already disabled SpamCop and the errors went away, but we still have AOL users saying the emails are being delayed coming from us, and our server is sending out right away.

I was just wondering if anyone else had been having any sort of problems with email to AOL users.

Thanks,

I do know AOL has gone on a blacklisting frenzy for people sending mail into the AOL network. They even bullied my ISP (RCN) into blocking port 25, so they can monitor all mail sent (I setup exim on port 26, so thankfully I do not have to send mail through it).

Yes. We had an email rejected from our server. But most of them go through. For that 1 single email that was rejected, the message was that it was due to spam, but we never did have any spamming incidents. That particular server wasn't even hit when the formmail problem surfaced last week.
