Webalizer stopped! [resolved]

Webalizer (v 2.01) stopped running on one of my Raq4's. Just plain quit logging new stats.

Old stats okay and no errors showing via the http interface.

Traffic Light and native Raq per-virtual-site stats still working, so the raw stats are okay.

Any ideas? Where do I start looking for the problem? It's a pkg install by the way.

For a start see if the script webalizer.pl is still in the /etc/cron.d/daily (i suppose it runs daily).
And also check out if the admin or the root have any messages about this.

Hey, thanks for the help.

I think you mean /etc/cron.daily/webalizer.pl

Yes, it is there.

Where would I look for admin and root messages? (Sorry. I'm a Raq newbie.)

You might also check and make sure logs are rotating properly.
I had this problem recently and it turned out to be a problem with logrotate issue and not webalizer.

How do I check if the logs are rotating?

(Sorry to be dense)

If they aren't rotating correctly the admin email address on your server will have an error message.

Thanks.

Logs are rotating okay (at least I can manually run perl /etc/cron.daily/logrotate without it throwing any errors on the console.)

However perl /etc/cron.daily/webalizer.pl throws

Error: Unable to restore run data (99)
Error: Unable to restore run data (99)
Error: Unable to restore run data (99)
Error: Unable to restore run data (99)
Error: Unable to restore run data (99)
Error: Unable to restore run data (99)
Error: Unable to restore run data (99)
Error: Unable to restore run data (99)

etc. etc.

Any ideas?
