Help!

First, learn to read the rules of the board. You have plastered the same post in three different forums on this board.

Second, don't come here asking someone to train you from the very beginning. It is obvious you haven't made an effort to learn anything on your own by reading on or off line.

Third, the biggest mistake you could possibly make at this point is to get a server of your own. You have way too much to learn first. You are light years away from that stage.

Advice-Learn....read......study....once you build a foundation, then ask questions to supplement that foundation....start with a single site.....then move to a reseller account.....then to a server. Did you really think with one post (although posted many times) you were going to become an instant expert?

I just want to know what is good to use, from people who have experience with these things, and what is good for a stable server, IS THAT MUCH TO ASK?

Yes.

When you ask the same question in three different threads, it is asking too much.

From your question and tone it doesn't really sound like you know much about what you are wanting to do. To me it sounds like a kid (or variation) that has a buddy that has a buddy that went into the hosting business and made a killing before closing down and going off to summer camp.

With that type of attitude you won't get far here, the majority of wht'ers are established businessmen and women that have to deal with the bad rep that timmy variations cause to this industry each day. Best bet would be to get a book, do a google and put some basic knowledge under your belt before coming in here and acting like the world owes you something. If you want to run a *nix box, well try the vendors site, or you can try to run Linux as a module on your windowz server

You should also take to heart what Incognito said, start small and grow, it is a proven science and will save you a lot of grief.
