ModernBill Questions
A) I am using 2CO, is it easy to switch to authorize.net later on when i get a merchant account. I hear that 2CO is set under "CC Batch" so it would get confused between auth.net and 2CO, maybe this is just a rumor?
B) How does the encrypting of CC #'s work? Can you use the same encrypt key for each? **Directing me to the manual wont help, ive already read it **
C) What is the 2CO secret word mean?
Thanks,
Ted

A) Auth.net also works under batch mode. The difference is with 2CO the customer has to manually pay VIA a link in the modernbill interface, with auth.net, it is automatically charged to the card VIA a gateway thingy...
B) Yes, decrypting of CC's works with the original encryption key supplied.
C) The secret word is for the 2checkout return function. Look at 2checkout's site, or the modernbill docs for more info.

I know you said you read the manual, but Sheps is correct with "C". The manual will take you step by step through setting up the 2CO module. It also shows you where to go within 2CO to set it up correctly.

The secret word is simply a word you make up. That word needs to be placed in the 2CO module within MBill as well in the return section of your 2CO account.

EDIT: Found it, thanks anyway.
