Free host that allows downloads?

Right now im using www.20m.com to make my website (free)

The problem is that i have a lot(50-70 about 5Mb in all...) of small files (tutorials in document form) and i want to put them up for download off my site.

I've linking them from my database on to one of pages, and i even tried linking to a forum i made but nothing works...

The question is, is their a FREE web host that will allow downloads?

by the way, my site is... http://www.solo-rm2k.20m.com

You could try some of the free file storage places listed here.

Yeah those free places and free hosts need to be updated nearly daily as they are falling like flies. Maybe you could email your host and ask if they will allow .doc files? I am not aware of too many free hosts who allow them.

www.freewebs.com

they have an OK setup.. they allow direct linking, which is the key. you could use a situation like that to your advantage cost-free. just a thought, but personally, I dont think they will be around much longer as they are fighting an uphill battle..

eek! dont want to see their bandwidth costs a month!

Web hosts who pay for bandwidth and get nothing in return? What a great idea for business success.
