Live Support Software
I know this has been discussed many times previously, but I am in the process of redesiging one of my hosting companies and wanted to ask you all what if any live support service you use.
I have a couple but they look terrible, I was lookin for something a bit more up to date and of course preferably free or low cost.
Thanks guys

http://www.chattist.com/home.html had a recent promotion that did very well. I bought it too. Not fully up on my site yet, but from the prelim testing I've done, it looks very good. They've had lots of good reviews too.

You might want to check out www.clickchatsold.com. Its a good product but costs about $15 per month.

I use PHP Live Support after trying a few of the others including the free ones. It is not free, can pay monthly or buy outright. I believe monthly is $19.95. I also liked Chattist and CCS, just decided that PHP Live worked best for my use.

Its done in java and looks really good, you can either use it as a chat room or for support purposes. The support side works really well have tried it out.
Fully customisable as well
<<Mod Note>>Signatures need to be setup in your profile.Last edited by SoftWareRevue; 05-25-2003 at 11:38 AM.

We used to use Groopz, but now use LivePerson. LivePerson is considerably more user-friendly.

Hello,
PHP Live Support is a good solution, and one pro is the possibilitie to be completly accessed through the Web, without software installs and related stuff. Besides this, the customizing feature is really interesting too.
Regards,

However, you cannot minimize to tray, which is very annoying. We used to use Groopz and Groopz cannot minimize to tray either.

Still, LivePerson is much more efficient. It can pop up when someone wants to chat. You can have it start with Windows easier. You can use canned messages easier and use F-function shortcuts to hop between conversations. There is also generally less of a feeling of latency when using a GUI like LivePerson rather than a web page.
