How to Link to Particular Post in a Thread?

Let's say a thread has 20 posts, and I would like to link particularly to one of the 20 posts -- say, the 10th post. How can I figure out the link that will do this? Thanks for the assist!

If you hover your mouse over the "report this post" link, you will see the post ID. Yours for instance is http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...41#post1164241

And the link to anon-e-mouse's would be http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?postid=1163920#post1163920

So, in other words http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?postid=[the ID number of the post]#post[the ID number of the post]
There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

    Teamwork!

Thanks to you both. Although there is a little glitch in the suggested link for anon-e-mouse (I think the postid should be 1164257), I get the drift. You wind up memorizing and typing the entire url once you get the postid, I take it. Thanks again!

If you're anything like me, you memorize all the smilie shortcuts, and all the URL shortcuts
