Please stop playing with bulletin board standards!
In the advertising forum, threads act really really strange. Threads never move up the list.. there could be a hot discussion going on, on a thread on page 3. It's confusing. Please drop it. It doesn't work.

It obviously works.
Threads have been sorted by start date in the Advertising Forums for a long time. There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.0

I really don't think they should.. there are various reasons. One being that there are just too many offers nowadays.. my 2 day auction will be on page 4 or 5 by the time it ends.. no mather how many bids I get. I agree that this used to work back when WHT was smaller, but not anymore. Please consider.

If it wasn't like this, everybody's buddy would be bumping the threads that did get close to page two just like they used to. This way is fair for everyone.

As SWR said, by sorting the ads by thread start date, it gives everyone an equal opportunity to advertise their product or service. It also makes it easier for us to moderate the forums, by not having to search for "bump" violations etc.0

Well what happens is people start their offer again and again, which is boring and worse than bumping it imo.. it would be much easier to see who's a good guy if people could check what the buyers have to say.. oh well.

well what are your suggestions on doing a auction that lasts longer than the 7-8 hours of front page exposure that you guys let us have?

Make it last a week and pay for the sticky.

Don't see where this is going any where. You know our position. We know yours. It's been discussed before. Thread closed.
