    Is this enough to start?

Please read what I have and tell me if this is enough to start a hosting company. Forget the fact that I am trying to attract clients. I realized you need advertising and other ideas to attract clients. But I want to make sure I am set up properly before I even attempt to attract one client. No sense in having clients if I can not provide good services. Thanks in advance.

    1) Reseller account
    2) SSL cert
    3) Merchant account
    4) Billing software
    5) Support via ticket submission

Yes, I also have a domain and a site designed, so no smart comments about that please. Could you please add what I am missing. Thanks.

For a start, it should be enough!

    I guess I know what you want ; )

    Ditto the good luck!

I actually started with only item 1. Fortunately, what I did have, however, were a few friends with successful small businesses that wanted a web presence. I was their "computer" guy, and they looked to me for guidance. And thus, I'm turning a profit and I don't even have a web page up yet.

I guess there's different ways to do this, which leads to my next question, in another post . . .

I believe good forum software (vBulletin I'd say; if not Invision) would be benificial for them too... I consider this as important as a ticket system.

Other than that, seems good. Enjoy.
What does one host say to the other? "(HostA) Want to go see a movie?" "(HostB) Sure, can your parents drive?"

I'm premium, and no, I did not have to pay $6 a month to figure that out.

Do you have a server admin or knowledge of your OS and software?

Also remember the time and dedication which needs to be included with that support ticket system
