What made you choose your WebHost name?
What made you choose your WebHost name?
Anything in particular? What inspired you to choose it.
Best Regards,

I offer both design and hosting. Began as just design though...
Simply opened the dictionary and found the word "Presage".
"An intuition or feeling of what is going to happen in the future"
Was pleased with it

I was just trying to think of something unique but good. I came up with Divine when I was surfing sites and saw that name.

In Italian Vero means True... so VeroHost would mean TrueHost in English.
We're a honest and true hosting provider =)

maybe it's a bit lame.. but ours came by accident while trying to come up with a name.
I was on the phone with my wife who was making various suggestions. During the process, she said she wanted something that would fit us "to a T". It sort of jumped out at me! So, we altered it a little so fit who we are. Our last name begins with a T and there are 2 of us. Plus, my first name begins with "A" and hers "T". So, we came up with Two-A-T. There are TWO of us, A and T and our service fits you TO A T.
A little play on words
Lame? Probably LOL

My partner and I after we closed down a host that wasn't doing so good were trying to think up of names like vizual host, realityhost, all these different names, then we thought about how hosting isn't typically a local thing it's a national thing just just came up with the name nationhosts and that's how we started.

Ah. All this time, I've been reading it as twoat, pronounced "twote", one syllable. I had the image of a toad in my mind.

I chose Uneedawebsite.com because I thought it would lend itself to a good logo and be easy to remember. We haven't gone live yet with our hosting business (other than for clients we already had as resellers), so it remains to be seen whether we made the right choice.
What do the experts here think? I am curious.

AF Stood for the initials of the town where we started. We have now moved, and the towns initials are BF.

I just used the initials of the main business theme and added host. I generally work with local businesses, and/or clients that fit the theme. (Recreation, Vacation, Home, Hobbies, ... Just trying to keep my work pleasant.

Actually rather odd way of finding my name I just mention it to my girlfriend one night that I was starting a hosting company and that I couldn't think of a name. Well she radomly suggested Crazy Technology, and I was very pleased with the name so I purchased it.
