    Network BackBone Opinion

    HI there,

    i am wonder if guys can give comments or your personal experience about web host on these network.

    1.NAC
    2.The Planet Network

    i read from other post that NAC has might have a few days of downtime in a year..

    any truth in that.

    i am about to get a reseller account with a few friends and i dun mind a couple of minutes of downtime max 1. hour but any longer will be tough to explain to my non computing friends.

    okie, therefore there isnt that much difference between the two of them?

    in ya personnal opinion, NAC got 2 difference type of bandwdith rite? one is Premium and the other is DJ**?

    does either makes any difference.

    Yes, the latter one uses Williams for all outgoing traffic that doesn't already go through a peering arrangement, Permium uses some other providers in addition to Williams... I think that's right, if not, I am sure someone will correct me.

    Have you read the diagram?

    From what I see, the network on the left is redundant and has more bandwidth providers. I don't think they are equally good.

    However, I may be wrong since I haven't used theplanet before.

    yupZ.. i saw the diagram..

    was wondering of that too.. but how do we know which line they using?

    with so many network providers, how do you guys choose between them? or does price/feature matters more ?
