Disgusting defacement...

Technically, I'm not sure if this a defacement or if it's called something else since I was forwarded to another site. I just visited the site of a host, and I was forwarded to a porn site. Worse, it was impossible to leave. There was a literally never ending cycle of windows and pop-ups. The only way for me to get out of it was ps -e, kill.

It's probably best I don't give the url, but I can say it's not one of the hosts who frequent WHT.

<not me either> Yes, you would be doing them a favor by emailing them. Don't ever post a link like that on a forum. Some people click on anything.

I found their contact info last night on whois and I sent an email just in case they were unaware of what was going on.

It amazes me that someone would do this sort of thing without a thought to the business they could be ruining, the <getting melodramatic> food they may be taking off someone's table. Not to mention the businesses of all that host's clients.

Well, I was looking for a porn site when I accidentally found a web host. Er, I mean I was looking for a host when I accidentally found a porn site. Yeah, that's it.
