Trillian

With the recent thread about the older ICQ versions I thought I would bring up a nice program called Trillian.
http://www.trillian.cc

I have used ICQ for a long time, but last week I found this program. It lets you use ICQ, Y!, MSN, and AIM all at the same time. It is a great tool. Instead of using all 4 programs I just use one. Plus it has no adverts like the newer ICQ versions.

I thought a lot of users here would find this program very useful!

Note: I am in NO WAY affliated with this program

I tried using Trillian, and will probably use it in the future, but the problem is that currently it doesn't support hebrew which I kinda need...

Also - it has no file transfer support and I cant find how to use history on it, two things I dearly need...

Its a great program, while ICQ/AIM/Y!/MSN/IRC together use around 40mb of RAM Trillian only used 15mb with all of them on.

Recommended program, works very well, skinnable too (If you are used to ICQ, there is an ICQ skin which helps a lot).

HTH.

Itay

To import ICQ. I am pretty sure this is right:

Click on the add buddy icon.

Choose the AIM/ICQ from drop down box

There should be an option to import ICQ users

Browse to find the .idx file in ICQ folder (it will only import you list if you are using ICQ 2000b).

All of these steps are detailed in the help files of the program.

I didnt like the IRC section of it, not as advanced as i like it. I rather use mirc+ircn or bx
