No, if you are on a shared IP, then it's the IP that was assigned to your main site. If you have individual IP's, then you just pick one from that listing.

Remember that you'll also need to update the DNS tables.

Chris, where'd you get the RaQ from? Also, the IP address isn't liek a domain. More like 201.201.201.201 (you got at least one with the server).

Chris0,
Not to be rude, but you ought to read all the FAQ's and manuals regarding your RaQ3. "In there", it will show you clearly how to deal with DNS, SSL, users etc. This kind of information is a *must to have knowledge about before you run your own server. If you have clients on that server it's going to go wrong one day...

You can have both IP & name based Virtual Sites. HiSpeed Hosting would have given you details about your nameservers allocated IP's etc.

Heh heh, not willing to help EVERYONE *wink* with their RaQ's ??? Don't you side-line as Cobalt tech support?

Sorry, I probably should just email this, as it is somewhat a private joke, but...

Question

What do you mean by that Chicken?
I don't see this as a joke. Altough it is a learning curve and step-by-step for some it is obvious that setting up a dedicated server is not a game (shouldn't be) and if you have clients you can't ignore the importancy having some knowledge how it works <before> you setup the damn thing. Chris0 mention he's question was "dumb", I do not think the same way and I am more than willing to help. My advise was to read the Cobalt FAQ's and manuals and join their mailing list as that would give him alot quicker respond and better help.

My reply was not meant to be rude or arrogant in any way.

DOH! What Coreace didn't get (and what I meant by my post), is that Coreace helped me with a whole bunch of stupid things I didn't know (didn't have a manual, was completely confused at first).

She provided me with some help, and I greatly appreciate it. Was better that cobalt tech support

(that's what I meant!)
