small request for the mods...
When you move a thread that is maybe 2+ pages, could you leave the "this thread has ben moved" thing up in the old location. It would be very helpful.

We could, but it makes the forums look messy (in my opinion). You would be very surprised how many we move a day and there would be pointy things everywhere If a thread that is already 2 pages long was in the wrong forum and not reported earlier, then it should have been

As long as the mod that moves it, replies to it, you should get notification (if you're subscribed) and then you just go where it is.
Of course, you'd have to notice that you were in a new forum.
Like the mouse that roared said, we move far too many to leave the 'moved' notice.There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

Those usually are the ones moved to the trash.
But, it happens.There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

Nah . . . just when they get that long before someone notifies us to 'move' it or something, it's generally a flame/spam/similar type thread that grew fast before being thrown away.
