Any billing processors out there that allow "adult webhosting" to be sold?
Want to brand my reselling as for adult websites. So far as soon as you bring up the "a" word they say no - anyone know of any processors that may allow this?

I think that you're confused (or not ), what you're selling is hosting, not an adult (porn) product, probably that's the confusion that the people that you were talking have too.
To whom you focus the service shouldn't be a problem.. I think..█ Shared Web Hosting - Reseller Hosting - Semi-Dedicated Servers - SolusVM/XEN VPS
█ LiteSpeed Powered - R1Soft Continuous Data Protection - 24/7 Chat/Email/Helpdesk Support
█ Cpanel/WHM - Softaculous - R1soft Backup - Litespeed - Cloudlinux -Site Builder- SSH support - Account Migration
█ DowntownHost LLC - In Business since 2001- West/Center/East USA - Netherlands - Singapore

exactly, you're a niche service provider. Your service has nothing really to do with adult, that's just your preferred target audience. Let these banks know you're a webhosting provider. Thats all they need to know......
Banks usually shy away from recurring adult membership sales, which isnt even close to what you're trying to provide.

You know.. you're right... DUH!
I also allow adult sites to buy hosting. I asked a couple of CC services about it and all of them said as long a *I* wasn't selling the adult content/materials myself, it's fine. By selling site space to an adult business you aren't actually providing the content or selling any adult products or services. The produt you are selling is being used by your customer to do that and it's up to THEM to find an adult CC processor if they want to sell adult products themselves.
So, you should be ok. (just be carefull about being too explicit on your own site... some processors may frown on explicit images or info on your site when they are associated with it)
I shoulda thought of that before I spewed out those site addresses last above LOL

Well, I'm in Canada and the only place I've heard of that you can get a US merchant account from is through PsiGate.com.
If I was to brand it as adult hosting (ie, on an adultxxxhosting.com type domain) the bank they deal with would reject it. Someone else said they are very touchy. Since their app fee is $249 I'm looking for more of a sure thing here.

You could always try a name that isn't excusively adult. There are many more ways to say "adult" without actually having to s p e l l it out. If you need some more help with a name let me know I have been known to conjure real good ones.
