harddrive array? what ya mean? Also in directors cut he says all the computers were functional but some of the linux commands weren't real and were commands to other computers that sent something back through a program they used. So supposedly it REALLY was a server. I also noticed in some of the screens that it said "Phil file.img has written to /HOME2 for 24 hour monitor and he removed that drive from the server.

wow that's pretty cool, I am guessing they had similar but without a cover and just had the harddrives sticking out or something, throughout the whole movie you'll see similar computers though as the one I showed you like the henchmen, phil and forgot the other guys name, their like checking what files were written in the kindercare center and you can see those 2 huge black towers with the removable HDD's, funny because I do remember when I went to my dads house after he died and the roomate that was staying at his house had a old compaq pentium II that looked almost EXACTLY like that case, except it had a cover to it, it looked nice but I wouldn't take a prebuilt computer if it was only P2, always wanted a server similar to the one from that movie though looks awsome hehe.

I noticed in one scene it shows the name brand on the server where the two henchmen are looking at someones code but it's like blurred and cropped, I can't take a picture because it says I don't have capture device hardware unfortunately.

I realize this thread is mad old but I finally found the name of the hardware. It's a Megadrive Enterprise 8. I guess it's some sorta Disk Array hardware storage device. It holds 8 SCSI drives and connects via a SCSI card. Interesting. I even bought one of these a few months ago.

for a second I didn't think it was too old (i usually don't look at the year, just the month/day) and was wondering why the links weren't working!
i'm stupid, but it's very scary you remember you posted about this thread from a year ago, and re-posted....I specialize in neck beards

Well I remembered I posted and never posted the answer. I found out what it was after taking pictures and cropping the image to finally form a logo, I bought the device off ebay and it still works, now it's not like it was portrayed in the movie being a server it was just some sorta prop but also in the movie they had two uses, one was it was a personal machine and it was a server that stored files which was called "Cerebellum" and "Cerebellum backup". It stored all the staff information and criminal activities, I still use mine and have it connected to my brother and my personal computer and normally just store a lot of files on it, I haven't got it to work with windows but it works in linux. It's also listed as the megadrive enterprise E-8 or ER-8 as well.
