Need merchant account info

Hi guys,

Does anyone know a good merchant account that will let you do the following :

1. Charge our customer quarterly instead of monthly.
2. Use API to integrate with our website.
3. Web Interface for management.

I recently signed up with echo-inc because of their good price and their API, openecho. Just today I got a call from them, and they asked me to switch our billing from quarterly to monthly. Since some of our service is less than $10, it'll be useless for us to charge them monthly. We'll ended with nothing because of cc charge.

If anyone can tell me other good merchant account ?

that might be a tough call. As far as I know almost all merchant accounts will ask you to change to monthly billing. You might try sfcommerce though. I talked with them a while ago and they seems to be not quite as strict as some of the bigger merchant providers.

Well .. right now I do have a merchant account which allow me to do quarterly billing. The reason why I'm looking for another merchant account is because the one I'm using doesn't have any GUI application. Everything is done through the touch tone phone which really annoys me and also limit our capability to do any kind of automation.

No... with normal mercant account you can bill someone for 3 years of service if you want. Echo-Inc requires you to Only provide a monthly service, except for domain which are their only exception. They are cheap, but it comes with no CGI, gotta use their bank, and can't charge on more then a monthly basis.

thevsp.com's 'Option 1' seems like it might suit your needs, and it has no setup fee. The monthly minimum is a bit high, but if you have enough sales it becomes the best deal around.
