The hosting company, the millionaire and the mistress....
I was on a train today traveling back from London. On the seat next to me was a copy of the Daily Mail, for those of your outside the UK its a daily newspaper which in my opinion is generally trash. I decided to browse through it and came across a great story regarding the directors and owners of Host Europe who own:-
123 Reg
Web Fusion
Dedicated-servers.co.uk amongst others.
Apparently the director a Mr Hardoon wanted to sack the WHOLE board apart from himself. Mr Rejwan (Hardoon's brother in law) and also the companies chief operating officer is seeking to take over the company which after months of wrangling led to a statement being made to the stock exchange.
In the statement Mr Rejwan made an accusation that stunned stock exchange analyst. Mr Rejwan claimed that Mr Hardoon has been cheating on his wife and having an affair with the company secretary! Mr Rejwan also claimed that Mr Hardoon was giving the secretary bonuses. Mr Hardoon has now admitted the affair to his wife and I assume will still battle to keep control of the company which was apparently valued at £268 Million pounds but is now valued at £13.7 Million.
I was just amazed that a so called professional company acted this way behind the scenes. It's nice to know that Host Europe’s customer’s money is being given to the bosses mistress, possibly to keep her quiet.
