2checkout Does this happen often?

I signed for a 2checkout account about an hour ago. I just tried to access it and got the following message.

Quote:
Due to heavy database load the sellers area is temporarily unavailable.
This interruption is necessary to facilitate the best possible buying experience for the customer.

Please try back in 30 minutes.
Does this happen often with these guys?
Shouldn't they have seller accounts on different servers than client accounts?

It doesn't happen often but it does happen from time to time.

They are updating their servers soon (although what 2checkout defines soon as is unknown, think about their multi-currency support, and their ATM cards (which were JUST rolled out after months and months and months of 'soon').

It used to happen more frequently, however, to their credit, I have not run into this recently. I've noticed steps they have taken to reduce some of the load...such as limiting your search when looking up invoices (the other day, I couldn't search by name). Also, during high loads, the payments database will not show. Since they implemented this, I've seen less problems.

Some time I also got that message. But so far I am quite happy with their service. So far so good. I hope they continue to maintain their good service.

It has happened often lately, but they are working on this problem and have promised that it should be fixed medio may when their other 'server arrangement' are ready. As for the failing transactions which started since they upgraded their system and which we experience daily, they still continue. They have told us that they're working on it but didn't give any ETA for when this problem will be fixed.
