Anonymous Surfing and bypass firewall suggestion
Hi,
I'm looking for proxy services to
(1) bypass the firewall from my company to block ports like 2082/2083 for cpanel.
(2) added value: anonymous surfing to protect me online.
I have 4 paid services to choice,
www.orangatango.com (7-day trial), USD$3.95/m or $39.95/y
www.anonymizer.com , $9.95/3m, or $29.95/y
idzap.com (award from PC-Mag) $15/3m, or $50/y
the-cloak.com $5/2m, limited 200MB transfer
Any suggestion to the above services, or other recommendations?
Sometimes, I will lognin to my cpanel thru the proxy, so good reputation (privacy) is required.
Regards,

But most CGIProxy scripts are banned, like.

I signed up the-cloak.com & idzap.com paid serves, and share my experiences with WHT members.
The-cloak.com service is very good, no problems to access CPanel and Ensim Pro. Access most websites are okay, only 2 times have troubles to connect via https, and once to access webhostingtalk.com just because WHT output HTML set BASE HREF to webhostingtalk.com without the tailing slash /.
I emailed them and got replies within 12~24 hours, all problems are answered and solved politely.
I also signup with idzap.com 'secure browse'.
Only has troubles to access WHT, when I click the link to each forum, IE fall into an infinite loop, never reach the destination page.
I emailed idzap support for weeks, no reply.
No problems to access other websites and CP at non-http-port.
The-cloak allow non-secure (http) connection, but idzap force you to use secure connection(https).
Pros
the-cloak:
server located in EV1 network, fast access to WHT.
Friendly support.
No problems to access to CPanel/ENsim Pro CP.
No problems to access most websites.
Online signup with iBill and instant activation.
idzap:
No transfer limit. Low price.
URLs are encrypted.
Cons
the-cloak:
PIN code limited to 60 days and 300MB transfer for USD$5.
(Within 60 days, I used 70% of bandwidth)
Self-signed Certificate, cuase IE warning.
URLs are not encrypted, use SSL to protect.
idzap:
no support.
online signup but not instant activation, have to wait 1~2 days.
If you have lots data to download, and no special-HTML-coded websites to access, you can use idzap.
If you just browse websites, no huge data to d/l, the-cloak is better choice with true support you can reply on.
Based on my surfing, I feel that the-cloak has faster page loading than idzap, no exact number or d/l tests.
If you have to use proxy to access something important and password required, please be very very carefully.
You'd better read their privacy policy and ToS.
I will try www.anonymizer.com after membership of idzap expire.

I purchase "the-cloak.com" services because,
(1) the-cloak's speed is fast overall.
(2) I still experienced BLANK pages via anonymizer's proxy in my daily browsing for very ver few pages.
(3) you can buy the-cloak services by 2Checkout.
If you're not heavy user, then a new yearly plan is cost-effective solution, USD$10 for 500MB xfer.
(4) Support, Wal Schmidt from the-cloak alyaws solved my problems within 12 hours.
Rank: the-cloak, anonymizer, then idzap.
Period.

I've had really good experiences with Proxify.com
It's free with some restrictions or $20 per year for premium access which is cheaper than the others already mentioned.
