Conflicting "Important" Stickies
These stickies now head the RO&R Section.
The Advertising Forums are not a place for you to critique one's ad. Comments such as "You could get a better deal at.....", or "Your price is way too high for that...", or "That design stinks....", etc. will be removed and your account suspended as noted above.Due to recent scammers selling design templates, VB licenses and software, and ultimately failing to deliver we would like to advice member to be very cautious when dealing with other members.
It seems to me the board does need some sort of policy regarding unethical and dishonest persons who continue to make offers and even advertise here. Short of that, what is the appropriate action on the part of a member? When Timmah, Shawn (of CW fame), Barr, Kyo, Laver, or others advertise, are members just to ignore and say say caveat emptor? Are we to sit and let them scam their next round of victims?
This is just intended to generate more discussion on what is and is not appropriate in an advertising thread. I am talking known history or information here, not just opinion as to the product or service.

Let's look at the whole post:
Anyone found to be intentionally "trashing" another's ad will be suspended as we see fit WITHOUT warning.

Moderators will have final say as to what is and isn't ad trashing - if you think your post will violate the rule - DON'T post it. Email us to check if it would be violating the rule. If you still want to get your point across to the thread starter, then PM or email is always an option.
For now this rule is only stickied in the RO&R forum for now, but it applies to ALL advertising forums.

I guess the only thing I see is, "will be suspended" should be changed to, "may be suspended."
A few grammatical errors. But we'll let those slide. There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.
