    Question bigbrainglobal

    Never go for bigbrainglobal. Why ???
    1) Very Late ticket response time (even more than 24 hours in my case)
    2) I ordered the server with Cpanel license. But they dint give server with panel installed. They asked me to pay 30$ extra for taking management service.
    3) The most important thing is that Bigbrain will null route your ip for DMCA complain without informing you.In my case they did same thing. It took 2 days for cpanel staff to come to know that they have null route the ip.SO its my suggestion not to choose Bigbain ever.
    4) Even for critical ticket there reply comes after 5-6 hours.In soem cases even after 10 hours.
    5) I dont have any personal issues with Bigbrain global.But what I saw and realised after 5 months of service at Bigbrainglobal.
    7) Their Abuse department will ban your ip for indefinite time.And after openign ticket their reply will be "Unfortunately, this server has been held by the abuse team for DMCA. When that is resolved it will be released."
    This may take even 2-3 days to get reply from abuse team.

    NOTE: And when i asked Bigbrain why you banned my ip without informing me.Atleast you should have asked me to remove the DMCA Issues links. And see their reply : In any event, hosting illegal content is not allowed on our servers which you agreed to abide by when signing up with us by checking the box during the checkout process for TOS/AUP acceptance."

    Hope the above reasons are kind enough no to go for Bigbrain global.

    Personally I have never had a problem with them. I think their terms of service are like any other and their support are reasonably quick even with the time difference.

    I am sorry that you feel that you feel that you had a sub par experience with our services. After investigating your list above and your ticket history, here are my findings. I am intentionally being vague in the responses below to protect your privacy, if you wish to discuss in more detail, please reach out to me directly and I will do a bit more digging.

    1) Very Late ticket response time (even more than 24 hours in my case)
    This is definitely not our standard and in most cases, our responses are in minutes. Timely responses are something value as our customers tend to expect this. There are a few exceptions to this and that is for Sales, Billing and Management Escalations which typically are only answered during normal business hours. After looking at your tickets, I see that some of yours have fallen into the exception group as they were escalated to Billing and Management. I also see that you have made a few duplicate tickets as well.

    Based on our records, you purchased a "Self Managed" server. This simply means that Big Brain Global only oversees the Network, Power and Server Hardware. The customer is responsible for all software on the server.

    For customers who need extra assistance, we do offer "Fully Managed" plans as well as "One Time" service offerings. The "Fully Managed" plans have a small monthly flat rate and the "One Time" plans involve a quote that the customer must agree to prior to work being completed.

    Our Self Managed servers are sold at a very inexpensive price point.

    We Do Not nullroute IP Addresses for a single DMCA complaint. Your case was a special case that was escalated to management because the site that you were hosting appeared to be solely dedicated to hosting pirated videos, which is a clear Terms of Service Violation. Your case is being reviewed by our Abuse team and unfortunately I am not personally involved with their investigations. I have already sent them a follow up to see if they have a decision.

    I will assume that you are speaking about the tickets from this morning. These were duplicate tickets that you created after we informed you of the abuse investigation on a previous ticket. When a "Management Hold" is placed on a IP Address or Service, our Techs cannot remove the nullroute.

    I hope I can clear this up. Our Abuse Team does not nullroute/ban IP addresses unless certain conditions are met. We also rarely nullroute IP addresses on an initial report of a problem however there are exceptions. The list of items often include:
    • Outbound DDoS Attacks
    • Intentional Spam
    • Multiple inbound DDoS Attacks
    • Customer Billing Issues
    • Unresolved abuse complaints
    • Gross Abuse of Terms of Service
    • Legal

    I am seeing that your account's hold is due to several concerns that your account is being used to host copyrighted video streams, which is a gross terms of service violation.

    These holds are put in place until the matter is resolved and cleared through management. We always work to get these resolved as soon as possible but depending on the reason, the investigation may take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. I personally rarely get involved with these investigations unless it is network related.

    I am very sorry that you are not happy with our services and I hope we can get this resolved for you in a timely matter. I hope that I have answered all of your concerns and if you have any questions, please feel free to get in contact and I will be able to discuss this further.     You are correct, our managed services do include cPanel however we do have a small number customers who purchase Self Managed services (VPSs or Dedicated Servers) and simply purchase a cPanel license to run on it. There is a small cost savings from doing this if the customer is comfortable with managing their own server/vps.

    It is for this reason that we offer our "One Time" service options in case they need assistance. This is very similar to "remote hands" plans that many datacenters charge.

    My experience with big brain is for shared hosting - for the price, there are better.
    BigBrain does not offer any form of backups for shared hosting - on previous occasion their server went bust, and all accounts were lost - yet they still do not offer backups.
    Many lower priced hosts offer daily backups, so I won't be renewing.

    Hi If you want cheap shared server with daily auto backups, I will tell you new and far better than bigbrainglobal.
