Eek!
Well, there have been 4 pretty big earthquakes in my area (Seattle, WA) under 4.8 in the past week, in three different areas about 50 miles apart.
That's not good news, one happened last night at 3:02AM, i was awake but didn't feel it. Could it be one of our 3 volcano's will blow? Or will we get the "big" one that is expected to come soon?Don't look for a way out.

Ouch!
But hey, look at the bright side. Maybe the ground will shift enough that you'll end up someplace sunnier.

Earthquakes of that calibur happen pretty much everyday in earthquake-active regions.

Yeah, i know they happen every day, but not of that size. They are usually around 2.0 and are very deep.

Maybe no in California/West Coast, but in Mexico, Japan, etc. it's usually around 3 to 3.5. Either way, 4.2 is pretty big, but that doesn't mean the "big" one is coming soon.

It could mean nothing, but there have been alot of earthquakes in this area in the past few weeks. In the past week 4 pretty good sized ones have happened.
