    Use PhotoShop ImageReady for slicing

Open the image and click on "Slices" on top menu. And then click on Divide Slice. Select how many slices, how may pixels you want. Dont have too many small ones. Depending on the image size maybe 4 to 8 max [if the image is really huge] You can also do it manually using the slice tool and divide into various unequal sized divisions.

After you have finished with slicing go to "File" on top menu and "Save Optimzed As" give it a name and save it to a folder. Over. THe image is sliced and saved automatically into the number of divisions you specified.

In Dreamweaver where the image has to be placed set the table with the dimensions you used for slicing the image [zero border, space]. Insert the images accordingly. Over. your sliced image is now seamlessy integrated into the webpage.

For more info go to Google and search for PhotoShop Tutorials/ Photoshop Forums and find some forums exclusively dedicated to Photoshop users. There is also a very good forum at Macromedia site where you can get the others to trouble shoot your problems.

Also check the help files in PhotoShop ImageReady and Dreamweaver.

i think adobe apps let you save it as html & images as an option when you use save as.

that way you get the table code from the html file it creates and just clean it up a little then insert it into your own page.
