why does the view new posts button come up empty

the subject says it all, many times the view new posts button returns 0 posts, now I'm pretty sure if i havent looked at WHT since last night and there are 100 people on the board at that time someone is posting something. this started happening to me with the layout change, its rather annoying , any thoughts?

I've noticed this too. It's part of the search function which is suffering problems lately - I'm sure they're aware of it.

It has to do with the new theme and the way the cookies/sessions are handled - other than that - i dont think patrick has gotten any help from Vbulletin on figuring it out...
