HostGator VS iPage ? Which is the best >
Plz Tell me Which is more better, Hostgator or ipage ? Thanks

HostGator and iPage are both owned by the same company, EIG.
Therefore, quality of service, technology in-place and so on is likely to be identical, if not similar. Do a quick search here on WHT and you'll see plenty of bad reviews.

I agree with above comments. Their prices are attractive (at least for the 1st year), but service and support at EIG are definitely not the best.

Hmmm, would I rather jump in a pool of muriatic or sulphuric acid. Tough question.

Both are owned by EIG so the quality of service will be very much the same. You should avoid any company owned by EIG.

The only true difference is cPanel versus vDeck.

Like I always say: cat turds vs dog turds. But they're still both turds!
vDeck is "better" only because those servers are overloaded less. More people prefer cPanel, and load them down. But it's still not good.

EIG is just one of those companies that will make a person wonder if they have any morals.
One of our daughters told me tonight looks like Hostgator has a massive ad campaign going on in the internet this weekend.
She said just about every site I've been on looking for a new knitting machine a Hostgator ad jumped in my face.
Another one said they've been on every video she's tried to watch on youtube concerning harvesting oats.

As both of these are owned by same company, we can't say any one of them is better as compared to other. As shared by other members, there support level is going down day by day, so I will suggest you to choose a responsible company which can provide real live chat support.

Anything is better
OP, do yourself (and your data) a favor: pick someone else.
These two hosts - and any EIG brand - are both rock bottom; go with them and you'll only get downtimes, zero/useless support and massive headaches.

Both of them are terrible, if i really had to chose one, i would say hostgator, though they're not good either. Try to hit one that isn't EIG
