my current host is down and their uptime is only 99.48%.

i need better services uptime than that, at least 99.9%.

can anyone recommend a good webhost and excellent services uptime?

my current plan is 700MB space, 30GB bandwidth, 7 mysqldb...

price is $14.95 (supposed to be 19.95 but my current host gave a discount as i display a link to his site at the bottom of every page of my site).

any recommendation? i don't want to post this under webhosting requests as i want to base my decision on REAL customer feedback.

i was looking at hostgator, eyow and dathorn (leaning towards this)...

it'll be great if they can accept payments by paypal too... (dathorn doesn't)

have you emailed dathorn to see if they will allow you to use paypal? most hosts will try too accomdate users.

They certainly are generous with the bandwidth they give each account. I've never used them but they must have big harddrives and get bandwidth for cheap.
