Even if the hosting company is based in Dubai, they may or may not use providers such as etisalat , primarily due to the cost involved.

You should probably try providers which use servers in India or Singapore , if you are looking at good ping responses

Does anyone actually have a server with either of these hosts? Or gotten a response to sales emails?
WonderProxy can help your team do localization testing from around the globe. With more than 250 locations there's no excuse for not testing your website.
The Where's It Up? API can help multiply your monitoring infrastructure. You can request pings, traceroutes, DNS checks, and HTTP checks from all across the WonderProxy network.

Are there any questions you have?

When you say "heavy on content", what type of content are you referring to?

Its a Real estate company website with HQ images listed by staff. There are no customers account or payment gateway requirements. But due to HQ images and content with map loading and stuff we want to ensure page load time is less. There will not be many simultaneous customers but still we want to ensure that hosting and server location is not a bottleneck. Rest for images and content we will use wordpress or drupal as backbone which will help in optimizing the performance.

Ok - I think that proper optimization is going to be the key here with large images. Has the site been built yet, and would you be able to provide a link here << snipped >> to take a look?

It will be based on standard Drupal or wordpress theme from themeforest. Will not be able to share the link as its under development and client privacy matter. We will be optimizing the site and constantly monitor the software part. Currently our target is to find good reliable host based on location.

STC, Tata to launch CDN service in Middle East

Thursday 13 March 2014 | 09:57 CET | News Saudi operator STC has signed a partnership agreement with Tata Communications to launch a Content Delivery Network service (CDN) in the Middle East. This agreement would enable fast browsing of video content, footage, voice materials, games and MMS applications of different types in record time to internet customers and users of various applications. Hamoud Al Qisayyir, STC Group VP for wholesale, said the agreement is an extension of STC's strategy to expand regionally and globally via broad investments in major intercontinental cables and its strong relationship in the Middle East and North Africa.
