Apparently both have the most customer complaints of the big US cable providers. Does not sound like a good deal for consumers.
Respectfully,
Mr. Terrence

Yes, it looks like Charter was on the verge of buying Time Warner Cable too. It would have been good to see, because I've used both Charter and Comcast and Charter is worlds ahead in customer service and network quality.
I'm surprised the article didn't say anything about the FTC. They certainly are going to have to be involved in allowing a deal that involves the two largest cable providers.

Bend over and touch your toes...
If I did not need internet, cable could flush it. Where I live they have divided up the buildings so they don't compete. In the buildings they do compete, the prices are the same... of course, I can't prove it... but if I go down the street, I can get the same package cheaper. But they offer discounts for "whatever" reason.
But if they know they are in the building with no competition, they don't offer anything.
Due to the layers of reps, plans, and confusion, you can't prove anything, of course.Windows 10 to Linux and Mac OSX: I'm PARSECs better than you. Eat my dust!!!
