Printers: Which make/model do you use?

....or do you ever print anymore?

I am in the search for a printer. I mostly store everything digitally now and haven't had the need for one.

I would like to have one around because occasionally I find myself at a friends house printing something because I don't have one!

What printer do you use for personal and business?

I have a HP photosmart 7510, it's wireless. It's also probably not the cheapest one on the market but it's served me pretty well

I prefer a low cost mono laser printer. I'm using a Samsung ML-1860 now.

I got tired of messing with ink for ink jet printers.

If I want to print a photo (not often), I've got a Canon Selphy CP800 dye sub printer that prints 4x6's.

I don't print often, but when I do I print quite a bit. I no longer use inkjets due to the infrequent nature of my printing habits. My last inkjet mutlifunction wouldnt scan because my ink was out. I have a Brother MFC-9325CW. Its not photo quality or whatever but I don't print photos and it prints my stuff just fine and the ink doesn't dry out. This is entirely for my personal use.

For printing anything with lots of color or coverage, I use my Xerox 6180DN. Good little workhorse, great quality and reasonable cost per page... Plus I've had it for over 10 years- great investment compared to the cheaper desk models I've owned. For scanning or quick desktop printing, I use an HP 8600 Plus. I'd consider this for a desktop if you're looking, we've got em throughout the office and haven't had any issues with them aside from the non-Plus models... Bought two in an effort to save a few bucks, ended up swapping em out a few days later.

Ditto. Make/model matters far less to me than the basic specs. I'm also a huge fan of low cost black and white laser printers. I tend to go for HP brand laser printers, but that's just my own personal preference.

I have a Brother MFC-J435W and I have to say out of all of the printers I have owned I like the Brother the most and then HP printers come in second.

I like mono laser printers, but it is also nice to print in color and with how cheap I am able to get ink I don't mind the inkjet or it taking an extra few seconds to print something.

Cool....I have the same printer. No issues.

Most times it just sits there....alone...quietly waiting it's turn to be used. I've used it twice in the last 6 months for my daughters school assignment

Used to have a black and white laser printer for my old business. It would go years of printing clean documents before needing to replace the drum. Very good investment.

I love HP and the ability to change indiviual colors instead of all three in one cartridge. Target has a great price on the Envy HP printer with scanner and they have one by another company with a fax machine on it. Very reasonable prices and make sure to see how much it costs to get new ink when your searching for a new printer. mho

I have a basic HP printer that was gifted. I don't think I have ever had success with HP printers. Never mind that the new cartridge costs more than just buying a whole new printer.

I also want to sledgehammer my printer. I am thinking of saving up and getting a decent printer down the road for ze "office" but we'll see.

My Canon PIXMA MG6220 usually collects dust but it works fine when I need it. I was worried that the ink would dry up but found cheap aftermarket ink for it.

I've been using the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P255 dw for over a year now, and it has never faulted. Purchased at quite a cheap price, $80 AUSD.
