    Im new

Hello. Im new to this webhosting business and such things but I would love to go for a reseller host but I have no idea how it works. I was thinking of ThePrimehost with the WHMCS feature. How do I setup the packages? Will they be automatic? How to send them email when their order is complete with FTP & MySQL & cPanel Info. Thanks!

You should probably contact the support of the host you have selected. They might already have some tutorials in place to help you better

Each reseller is going to do things a little differently. It's best to select at least a few providers, then contact them for information on how exactly it's done through them.

You should be able to find a good list of resellers by using the SEARCH here on WHT.

Have you used a reseller account with WHM before?

First of welcome to the community you can gets lots if useful advice here from just about all types of business owners.
Whmcs is a billing system not a feature well it can be consider as a Addon.

With most resellers today they come with latest cpanel / WHM. WHM is where you'll manage your reseller and have the ability to create new packages , accounts and do on as cpanel is to create MySQL databases , emails , sub domains and much more.

Whmcs will do automated work for you after you configure and set it up correctly. Whmcs will bill your clients and even provide a help desk where support tickets and be opened and resolved between techs and clients.

Perhaps you should purchase a reseller and host some of your personal sites or friends and family members sites for free so you can get the hang if everything.

    Hi Roddan,
Setup and provisioning will all be automatic, you need to provide support to your end users though. Unless you want to go with one of the reseller hosting providers who will actually provide support to your end users such as InnoHosting.Com

Just as everyone as said above!

The industry standard is whm/cPanel, so go with a reseller with that.

The industry standard for billing and creating accounts is whmcs, everything is pretty much automatic, except for support. We use box billing as it has a software licensing module and its a fraction of the price.

Although WHMCS provides for flexibility its abit more complex.

Get yourself a reseller account and play around. You'll be looking at around $5-$25 a month for a decent reseller
