Windows Server 2008 Add extra IP

    Hello,

I have a Windows Server 2008 with a game server listening on a custom port. I would like to add an extra IP to the server. There is no ADS or IIS etc. Any one here know how this can be done ?

    Hello Dougy,

I was able to add the IP. But do you know how I can switch the game server to run on this new IP where as server main IP would remain unchanged ?

You might have to check the config files for game server to listen on specific IP and port.

Which game is it? With most games there is either a commandline parameter for IP/Port and/or an option in the server configuration file.
