Home security..IP Camera's?
I just bought a home and will be moving in shortly.
I am looking for some security camera's.
I have no idea what camera's are good.
I am looking at these: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...sAAA&gclsrc=ds
I will probably be getting 4 camera's. I also want to be able to view the cams from my iPhone. Also, is there some software that I can view all 4 camera's from at the same time?
Thanks for any help!
EDIT: Would like the software to record as well. Thanks.

Depending on the budget and how much you really want there is a whole list of different providers and setups you can do.
A basic starting one would be something like this.

When looking into cameras check out the resolution they are able to capture, if you need something for low light etc. I've got a few high resolution IP cameras currently which work great. Also if you want it really protected it's best to have it store the data in a safe place so someone can't break into your house and steal it.⚡️ PUREVOLTAGE.COM ⚡️Custom Dedicated Servers, Colocation, VPS Contact us: sales@purevoltage.com Skype: Mobile.Jake

I have recently installed a home security camera at my home. It works pretty well. All that it needs for its installation is a high speed internet connection. It alerts me with an email whenever someone tries to break-in my home. It keeps a good record of everything that happens at my home. Actually what I have installed is a videorelay of Alarmforce (Location: Mississauga, Ontario). The videorelay unit in tandem with a security camera performs all these functions. Years ago I setup a security camera system for a business. A few cameras from Ebay with security software and a computer I wasn't using with a large drive.
All visible points covered and it recorded audio/video for 2 months straight.
This was just a few years before iphone....now, a lot of places sell Security Camera kits. Good quality cameras (resolution, day, night), software, and in some cases a racked sized computer.
Along with the above tips, make sure the central part of your system has a backup power supply in case of a power failure...especially with this weather.

On the software front, check out both Blue Iris and ZoneMinder. I'm using ZoneMinder personally.

I have used a Zomodo Standalone DVR setup in several places for many years now. I would recommend a similar to setup to anyone as I have not had any issues since 2007. there are many different resellers so I wont post a place as I'm sure there are lots of deals on kits out there. Just Google Zomodo
