I have an older dedicated server i'm getting ready to replace and i'm thinking now might be the time to switch over to a cloud based instance. I host voice servers (teamspeak and vent, adding mumble soon). I've so far avoided VPS (stability concerns) and cloud systems, but think maybe now's the right time.
My cpu needs are not much, disk IO not much either, but latency and network IO are important.
I'm wondering if anyone has done this on a large scale and if you'd recommend for/against it.
in the voice server the only question you must ask yourself about is the users location if your users or 90% of them are from europe then you will need europe location server for a better performance so its not about the cloud or anything else its about the location
