MaxCDN is seeking a VP of Sales

Have you built a career in selling IT solutions in a competitive market environment?
Are you great at hiring and building scalable sales channels and teams?
Do you pride yourself on our ability to get things done and execute successfully against your sales forecasts?
As our VP of Sales, you will be responsible for:
Building and managing a scalable sales organization that can double the company’s year-over-year revenues. You’ll hire, train and mentor the sales team to success.
You are excited by the opportunity to invest in your team’s success and are committed to building a results oriented team.
Playing a critical role in our executive team. You’ll join our current executives in shaping our long term sales strategy, and also planning for our company’s future.
Understanding routes to revenue, and creating conditions to grow and accelerate revenue. You’ll identify coverage models and partnership optimized revenue. You’re a pro at anticipating revenue opportunities and lining up your team to meet them.
Developing, managing, and pursuing a list of targeted accounts. You’ll develop strategic business plan and help close deals.
New customer prospecting and generating new business. You’ll dig into our competitive landscape to research new customers, and study every inch of their business to see how we can make an impact.
Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives.
Build a predictable sales pipeline. Create and execute a plan to meet revenue objectives
Accurately forecast sales opportunities.
Champion our solutions. You’ll become an expert on our product and be able to tie the benefit and value of our solutions to every brand you meet with.
What you should bring to the table:
Experience selling an Enterprise IT, hosting or content delivery service in a competitive market.
Comfortable fielding questions that come from C Level executives.
7+ years of enterprise sales. Thrive selling products with price points ranging from $25,000 - $500,000 annual value.
Evolving sales strategies to match market conditions.
Outstanding communication skills. Prospecting, presenting, negotiating. Command attention in a room, and comfortable working with all personality types.
BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business, Economics, Information Sciences or equivalent experience.
