I am trying to find out what is the best course of action to recover a domain name that was shared as a non-profit organisation, but one of the owners, after being ousted, decided to claim ownership through changing password of the registration e-mail address.
If anyone can pass along something to read about this matter (even in Italian), or has some advice to offer, it will be greatly appreciated.
I just learnt that it was always registered in the name of the person ousted, and paid for with his credit card. All owners are from the same location.
If the domain was purchased with that persons who got ousted information such as bank or credit / debit card then most likely it's history and you aren't getting any control over that domain as it shows it's theirs because they purchased it with their information and their funds.
You will probably have to take this one as a lost. If they originally purchased the domain under their details as in address and name then yes most likely there's no way getting this domain in your possession
