I'm about to switch from Instabill to another CC processor I can't access our account since 3 days (server too busy error) and the same when trying to set-up a new account. Good thing i signed up over a month before launching business

I highly recommend http://www.revecom.com I switched from Instabill to them. They are similar but I think Revecom is a little bit better.

-Better support
-You can accept checks!

To be fair.. Instabill have been upgrading their servers to accommodate a huge increase in business and out of all the time we've used them for our shared hosting sales they have been an excellent company to deal with..

They use the same software as Revecom and so apart from the fact that Revecom get your credit card details to whack you in times of trouble, they are pretty much the same system... Revecom also recently had some downtime but seem to have settled now (we use both systems for different things)

For beginners and resellers, Instabill is still the best option because the extra points you pay would still likely be less than the set up costs of a bank supported merchant account if spread over a few customers.... PLUS you don't get a black mark against your credit rating if you get attacked by fraudsters using stolen credit cards.... PLUS beginners will find it difficult to establish a merchant account with their bank unless they have a history of good standing..
