    Yahoo hosting for Wordpress 2014?

    Hey

I am interested to transfer my WordPress website from BlueHost to Yahoo and when I saw these features I was amazed and also the name "Yahoo" sounds good too as a big company http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/webhosting/compare-plans

they offer really good features but I just have few questions because I can't contact them

1-Is it good for wordpress compared to GoDaddy or bluehost? ( your opinion)

2-can I host more than 1 domain? like .com and .net? because in all plans they show only 1 domain

3-do they offer any migration service?

    Thanks

So which company do you suggest me to use for WordPress according to your experience?

because I am really lost and I don't have that much experience in hosting companies and reading reviews like on whoishostingthis makes me crazy because each review is totally the opposite from the other!

  4. Yahoo listing php 5.3.. lol seriously?

Most "features" are pretty basic, almost any host will do that..
    Better go with Stablehost/CrocWeb/FRH imo.

That should be a red flag right there..

Yahoo! isn't a "web host" - it's a "me too" service they offer.

I'd recommend taking a look through the offers section and picking a few companies on this forum that interest you. Then, ask questions.

    Kingfish85 .. You're right,

If they are selfish like that from the beginning .. So what do you think will come next?

    You can try companies like .. hostdime.com .. singlehop.com
They're good as a servers providers .. So I think they may good too @ web hosting services.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend a specific company as I've never tried a foreign Web Hosting company .. Only Dedicated.

    Best Wishes.

Yahoo is a horrible, horrible hosts. It actually makes EIG look good!

There are much better hosts. Use one of those.

It's obvious that you found Bluehost/Yahoo from a fake "top 10" list searching Google. But fake sites like that are using you for affiliate commissions, not really helping you to find a good hosts.

Look instead at Arvixe or Veerotech.

Couldn't agree more... in such case "yahoo" alone means nothing at all.

You know how this stated, right? When they bought Geocities, this was an upsell to make money. Nevermind that Yahoo didn't (and still does not!) have the first clue about hosting.

After the upsell tactic didn't work as desired, Geocities was killed off.

At some point, as I've explained more in-depth on one of my sites, I expect that it will eventually be sold out to EIG or another like them. I can't image that it is a huge profit generator, and it isn't in-line with their current focus.
