    Rookie cPanel Features Advice

I've only been offering web hosting services for the past year. I'm a web designer who also offers hosting due to demand by my clients.

I had a client today who wanted to use SSH, but I don't offer SSH for shared hosting. So he said remove it from cPanel, because it's misleading.

Ok, I can do that, but my question to you is there anything else I should disable? Because 1/3 of this stuff I don't knwo if I can do without it or not. I have SpamExpert, so I see no need for Spam Assassin right? I also think I don't need legacy features, because I made my own custom x3 theme. What else can I do without?

    Thanks.

It all depends on you, your customer and their needs. Like I can not remember a time that I've ever had to go into Install PHP Pear Modules, Install Perl Modules, Install Ruby Modules on a cPanel account. But then again I'm not saying others don't I personally has just never had the need. However I do access Advanced DNS Zone Editor a lot which wasn't enabled when I signed up with my web host. Obviously because regular users don't ask for this stuff.

You could also view the configuration and characteristics of other providers available, just watching your demo of cpanel or whm.
