    Label Maker/Asset Tags

With the need to buy a new label maker, I figured I would ask the community. What is your favorite label maker and why?

Mostly for labeling cabs, servers, cables, etc.

Another option we are considering for servers is asset tags, any particular vendor and shape/size people prefer?

I used Dymo, worked like a charm, never had problem with it.

+1 for dymo. I use model 160 now . It's not particularly small but I got big hands so I'm fine with it.

We use the RHINO 6000 and love it! The only major complaint I have is that the keyboard isn't QWERTY. The machine can cut labels, but unfortunately you have to hit cut and then continue (two separate buttons). The RHINO 6000 has a USB port and there is software to automate things, although we haven't used that. I don't think they have software available for Mac.

Brother P Touch 1400 is what we use, they have different height tapes to use, and either black text on white background, or white text on black background.

I just bought one of these Epson LW-300. Can't beat the price right now for $14.99

I just went in store and got it.. I took the website on my phone and showed it to the cashier and they price matched the website with no problem.

    Beats paying $40 for it.

I use aluminum asset tags. Looks sexy and professional but cost more...
