    server information :

    cpu : AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 3280

    we use apache MPM worker , as i know this is best worker for high traffic websites (?)

    we have 200 user online average and 350~500 online max in some times

    this is our configuration and it's very bad !
    Code:
    <IfModule worker.c>
    ServerLimit 16
    StartServers 2
    MaxClients 300
    MinSpareThreads 25
    MaxSpareThreads 75
    ThreadsPerChild 25
    </IfModule>
    we use litespeed before apache , we move recently on apache and i am newbie in apache
    please help me , what is your opinion for configuration ?

    You have pretty good configuration to handle 500 online.
    But i'd advice you using nginx with php-fpm and caching for your sites.

    Do you use any caching?

    I use nginx proxy with php-fpm since one year now and I would never go back to apache

    Why did you move away from LiteSpeed?

    IIRezaII,

    What aspect of the site is bad and what type of site is it?

    As a general recommendation you may want to look at either page caching as was mentioned, DB tuning, or even memcached for DB caching. It really depends on what your doing. But if it's cacheable cache it is a general rule as that is less intensive of cpu/disk io which provides better and the faster pageviews for your user base.

    Can you provide a little more information?
