Share Hosting in Europe - Which one?
I searched the forums for a couple of days for Hosting with servers in Europe. Reason for Europe is not the privacy but because I am in Europe and wanted something closer than US.
So I ended up with a shortlist of 7 that suits my needs for a share hosting as a start and would appreciate it if any that have experience with them give me any further recommendations.
Downtownhost
EuroVPS
ezpzhosting
Geekstorage
Hawkhost
namecheap
obhosting
Thanking you

If you're not looking for cheap particularly, think about a VPS. They're very good value in the Netherlands and Germany especially and I've had much better reliability and speed from them than from shared hosting. Try

Stablehost has Amsterdam servers.
EuroVPS is an EU company with servers in Amsterdam.
I've been with EuroVPS for almost 8 years now. Excellent, excellent host.|| Need a good host?

EZPZ are a good host, they are going through a bumpy time at the moment due to their growth in the past few months however they are hiring more tech team.

I never tried Namecheap or EZP but it looks like you did your homework well and came up with a great list. You should have no problems with any of them.

I would think about what you intend to host too. Geekstorage just informed me that they do not accept pornography in their shared hosting.

@JFSG & @Arthur Burlo thank you. I did a small search in the forums before I make the list and I am sure there are many other good ones too.
@malcarada No is not pornography at all I intend to host. I am glad I have Geekstorage in my list though as I wouldn't host at a provider that hosts pornography.

IMO you will be happy with either of these for a shared host.
Your list is good, you shortlisted creme de la creme in Europe.
Probably it will take you some time until you grow and need a VPS.
But then you should be able to upgrade from your shared account to a more powerfull one instantly.

I need to clarify I have nothing against Adult Content sites but they usually use more resources and don't wanna be on the same machine with one.
SO I went throught the hosts I listed...and now I am in doubt as to how do I trust the AUP and Terms of Use? Do I have to re-ask everything written there to make sure I have true facts?
In one of the companies listed in my list, in AUP says Adult Material is not allowed and if someone needed to host such contents should host to this.host instead...
I asked in their Live Chat if Adult Content/Porn is allowed in their Share Hosting plans and the answer was yes. So I replied back, "Thought your AUP terms is not allowing it" and they replied that they do if it complies with US law?
What do I think of this host now? Either the Live Chat Employee doesn't know the AUP of the company or AUP of the company needs to be revised to true facts?
Either case I am taking it off my list anyway...

For these reasons, clients violate the.host.name policy and the service agreement when they, their customers, affiliates, or subsidiaries engage in the following prohibited activities:
Adult Material
Adult Material
Because the Internet is a global communication tool, and we have clients from nearly every country in the world it is difficult to dictate what is considered "adult material." However, it is not our function to discriminate against those who choose to utilize adult content or adult related material. This being said, there are still several reasons why the.host.name has been forced to create its no adult sites policy for its virtual server users.
If you need hosting for adult content you can do it in our sister company thesistercompanyname.
What does the.host.name consider "Adult Material?"
Any site whose revenue is gained in part or whole from its adult content.
Photos or videos showing frontal nudity on either men or women for non-scientific or non-artistic purposes.
Revenue-generating hyperlinks to sites who violate policy #1.
Why does the.host.name have this policy?
Bandwidth and Resources
A virtual server is a shared environment where many servers reside on each particular machine. This being said, consider that an average "adult site" gets more hits than 100 standard websites. Some of the smaller adult sites get around 5 GB of transfer per day. With these types of resources being utilized, our servers would be severely slowed if we allowed these high traffic sites to also reside on our servers. On top of that, we would be forced to raise our prices to pay for the additional bandwidth. We strive to keep our servers fast and inexpensive, and our bandwidth clear; therefore, adult sites are not an option.
the.host.name reserves the right to decide what it considers "adult content", "adult material", "sexually explicit", or "sexually related". Let us know if you are unsure of the approval of your site before placing an order.
the.host.name will be the sole arbitor of what consitutes a violation of the above policy.
We do allow adult contents as long as they are legal in USA; this mean, no child pornography, no bestiality, etc.

I would recommend stablehost. Their servers are damn fast and support team is available 24x7 to help. I have used most of the hosting companies you have listed, but there is no comparison with stablehost. stablehost is 100 times better than the ones you have listed.

I was very satisfied the support from hosteurope. Only disadvantage is that they don't provide KVM virtualisation...
