    SSL Issue

I switched my website from one server to another last week, and ever since I have been getting this following error every once and awhile when I connect to my site via SSL.

    Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.myevolutionhost.com. SSL peer rejected a handshake message for unacceptable content. (Error code: ssl_error_illegal_parameter_alert)

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Alternatively, use the command found in the help menu to report this broken site.
I contacted the server admin, who advised me to clear the site cache, and all my temp files, which I did, and I still have the same issue. I can refresh the page a couple times and it will finally load, but I dont want to have to refresh a page 5 times just to get it to load, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any ideas what may be causing this ?

    HI Jason,

Although your site is a bit slow, it does work for me both with and without https.

PS your live chat says "Jasons iPhone" you want to change that.

    Jason,

    I since got the error

    Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.myevolutionhost.com. SSL peer rejected a handshake message for unacceptable content. (Error code: ssl_error_illegal_parameter_alert)

This is because your SSL has not been installed properly.
Re-key the SSL in CPanel. this should fix the issue.

Have you tested using different browsers to see if it happens across all of them? I've seen issues with Firefox and some extensions.

If not browser-dependent, look into your proxy server (if applicable). Or if you run Kaspersky software, test fiddling with the settings to see if something there is causing the issue.

    do what CyberHostPro suggests
Re-key the SSL in CPanel. this should fix the issue.
