Placing your main website separate from the reseller account is a good way for ensuring redundancy and is a common method for most hosting companies.
You can consider the following approach:
Main Server NS1 (ns1.serverA)
Main Server NS2 (ns2.serverA)
Reseller Server NS1 (IP Address 1)
Reseller Server NS2 (IP Address 2)
You would need to point your domain to the main server by setting their nameservers in your domain control panel to ns1-ns2.serverA. Make sure there is an account setup on the main server for your main website so you can modify the DNS zone to include the A records subsequently.
Subsequently, using your domain registrar's control panel, create child nameservers ns1-ns2.yourdomain.com using IP Addresses 1-2.
Lastly, modify the DNS zone for your main website's account by creating A records for ns1-ns2.yourdomain.com with IP Addresses 1-2.

You use the IP's that are going to the server where the accounts are being hosted.
Those 2 IP's would be what you enter for the nameservers.
I'd recommend a company that uses a DNS cluster however. In case you happen to need to move from server to server with the same company, it's much easier. Depending on where the cluster servers are, it can speed up DNS queries as bit as well in addition to a little more redundancy.
Since you are buying a reseller package, best bet is to simply ask the host you are buying from about the DNS set-up. They probably already have multiple nameservers and it is really pretty easy for them to advise you of what you need to set up.

mydomain.co.uk site is on another box, ns1+2.mydomain.co.uk must go to the reseller box.
On hosting of mydomain.co.uk add two DNS record.
ns1 -> A -> ns1 IP
ns2 -> A -> ns2 IP
Ask your reseller hosting provider for ns1/ns2 IP.
