Custom User Titles
Custom user titles are back on
A new rule has been added to the Rules Page:
URLs or other forms of advertising are not allowed in custom user titles and are limited to 25 characters. Also, members may not use custom titles to impersonate, or attempt to impersonate WHT Staff.(effective May 1, 2003)
If you have a user title that is in violation of the above rule, you have until the end of the month to think of a better one. After May 1st, the rule will be strictly enforced. However, between now and then you may receive an email from a mod politely reminding you of the new rule and you will be asked to change it.
If you dont know if your user title is against the rules, feel free to email moderators@webhostingtalk.com and ask
Also, the following restrictions are in place for user titles:
You must become a "Web Hosting Master" before your user title can be changed:
You must be registered for at least 60 days.
Character limit is 25.
To change your user title, go to your User Control Profile and click edit.

I considered changing my title to "Moderator" in another language... but I figured I didn't want akash to beat me up
A well-reasoned assumption is very close to fact.

Cool. Whose call was it?
What does one host say to the other? "(HostA) Want to go see a movie?" "(HostB) Sure, can your parents drive?"
I'm premium, and no, I did not have to pay $6 a month to figure that out.

I just used Rochen + Vito as examples in this thread, not for any specific reason... just wanted to know the boundaries for our titles.

Yes slogans would be a form of advertising. You get 4 lines for your signature - i think that's plenty to get the word out about your company
