    Online.net minecraft server

    Hi,

Does anyone host a minecraft server using online.net server?

    If so:
    1. Could I join the minecraft server to test the speed? (pm to keep private)
    2. Could you provide a cachefly test?
    3. What are your views on the server, has it handled well?
    4. Have you had a change to use the included standard ddos protection?
    5. How did the ddos protection handle?

    Thanks!

Why not just use one of the many established Minecraft hosts ? Most of have plans starting from less than the cost of a cup of coffee and have support teams specifically trained in Minecraft.

Why would you share while you can have it all for yourself..? I can't see a server get more than 1000 users while being on a 64mb package..

Could you use it, yes, but you would need to know how to install everything you need and fix the server if something breaks. Going with a pre-configured minecraft host basically eliminates all of that.

If you are going for a larger community then yes, it might make sense for cost, assuming you know how to troubleshoot.
