Making a vps appear like a pc

I want to run a application in a windows installed vps.The application runs on windows xp,vista,7.But I dont want the application provider to find out that I am using a vps.

Is there anyway I can make my vps appear like a pc?

What has to be done to achieve this?Any help is appreciated.

Let me stop you before you get too far ahead, more than likely what you want to do is easy to accomplish but the moment you do, you will be violating someones acceptable use policy - either microsofts, your vps, or the software that you want to run on the vps if applicable.

I think he means the IP address that you would use would be registered IP to a company. Example if I assign an IP to my VM on Amazon, that IP is part of a block that belong to amazon.

If you get a dedicated IP you should be fine. Also you wouldn't need to install windows professional on it or anything, just take the windows installation you already have an install a VNC server on it and login via what ever machine you want to login from, surely this is not against the TOS
