    Exclamation HostaVPS.com No Refund

    Hello guys,

    I purchased a VPS from HostaVPS.com for my project (buying for 3 months) .. reading with great antention TOS of Company.
    All well and good (Speed, Support excellent), I decided this time to suspend my Project.
    I asked knowing refund (30 day money back guarantee).
    I opened ticket for Refund .. I got a quick reply from them, I was told to cancel my account customer service (said and done).
    For three days waiting the return of funds.
    In ticket always get the same answer. "Hello,

    I'm escalating this ticket to the Concerned department. Kindly standby for updates. "

    I paid $ 90.30 USD

    PS: My VPS IS TERMINATE

    Refund can take some time. Some companies do it within 24 hours but some companies may take 3-7 days.

    Also, its weekend (satuday, sunday) and billing dept. is generally offline during weekend. Please have some patience and give them some time.

    The departament Sales/ Billing is online on Live Chat!
    I join on site by VPN, and immediately rushed to help, but after my ip no in chat not accept me.

    I would wait at least one week for a refund, don't get nasty or abusive with them (I'm sure you haven't been), just remain patient and calm. If, after that time is up, you still haven't received a refund, you may like to consider opening a chargeback. One week is still way too long. If this were my company, I would have processed it within 12-24 hours but everyone operates differently and work at different rates.

    As mentioned, delays often happen over the weekend.

    Generally Live chat representatives do not have all rights. Refund request is generally handled by top billing dept. staff. So, you should wait for monday and reply via support ticket.

    Sounds good. I doubt they have any intention of keeping your money. I just did a quick search for reviews here on WHT and most people seem happy with them. Also they've been operating since 2007 (based on their WHOIS) so they're not a fly-by-night host by the looks of it.

    Before buying I read a few reviews and I was happy to hear about them.
    I opened this topic because it never happened to me in 6 years of days to wait so long for refund. And received the same reply to the ticket, it seemed a little suspicious.
    I'll come back with news.

    I did the same quick search and found that they do have a whois from 07.

    You may just have to wait a few days for them to process the refund. The majority of refunds are done within 24 hours, but they could be backed up. Let us know how this goes

    Give it 7 days, a lot of companies hang around with refunds, just how it is, but 5-7 days should be enough but I would have expected it already.

    If not open a paypal dispute if need be

    It is also worth noting that *AFTER* a refund has been sent it can take an additional 2-3 days to be processed by your credit card company.

    Sometimes you have to wait up to a week for a refund to be issued I know I have,I guess you know this by now by what others have said in this thread.
