    Litespeed for shared hosting

I want to know if there are hosting providers using Litespeed instead of Apache for shared hosting. How is Litespeed compared to Apache?

There are many...it's faster and light weight. But we found some websites are incompatible with Litespeed and needed to direct to Apache to get it working ( very rare case though ).

You can always try their 15-day trial! It's only a click of a button to switch between Apache and LiteSpeed using their cPanel plugin: http://www.litespeedtech.com/product...nel-whm-plugin

Yes, that can be enabled from Litespeed admin interface. Litespeed is says to be a drop-in-replacement of Apache.

LiteSpeed is great, some issues with WAF Mod_Sec but overall it works great. Also next version, 5, will work better with Cloudlinux limits.

I am using Cloudlinux for a few servers. Will Litespeed be affected in any way?

Actually LiteSpeed has amazing compatibility with CloudLinux. PHP Selector and CageFS work seamlessly.

How about Tomcat compatibility with Litespeed? We are running Tomcat on port 80 using Mod_JK.
